COVID-19 Live Updates: Cases in India surge to 3,43,091 as death toll reaches 9,900

Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases in the country has jumped to 3,43,091 and as many as 9,520 people have lost their lives to this condition, according to data on the Union Health Ministry website. Globally, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases have reached 7,823,289 including 431,541 deaths, reports the World Health Organization (WHO).
